Keely - Hi, my name is Keely Vaughn, and I'm a Public Health Program Technical Expert Lead I here at Palmetto GBA. 

What is your favorite part about working for Palmetto GBA?
Keely - My favorite parts about working at Palmetto GBA are the flexibility my role allows me as well as the incredible resources and learning tools at my disposal. I have never had a company provide this many free trainings and opportunities for growth as a professional. 

What were some benefits you looked for when applying to jobs? Did Palmetto GBA have any of those?
Keely - One of the primary benefits I sought out when applying for jobs was a position that would allow me to be fully remote. I am a mother to a young son, so working remotely has provided me the opportunity to be more present and responsive to my family’s needs.

What benefits did you like about Palmetto GBA?
Keely - Along with the numerous free trainings Palmetto GBA offers, the health and wellness programs are more comprehensive than anything I have ever received from any other company. Palmetto GBA offers significant discounts related to health and wellness, which has allowed me to stay in touch with my physical and mental health needs.

What are your career goals within the company? How do you think Palmetto GBA will help you obtain these goals?
Keely - I have been working as a professional for nearly 10 years but have struggled to find opportunities for growth, including ways to elevate myself into a supervisory or management position. When I joined Palmetto GBA, I discovered that professional growth among their employees is one of the company’s top priorities. One of the ways they have prioritized this is by offering free management training and education, as well as a list of all available job opportunities that the company offers, which you can apply for internally.

What do you look for in a company? Did Palmetto GBA have any of those or more?
Keely - When I look to work for a company, I seek transparency, fairness, and a place to grow. Palmetto GBA made it clear from day one that these were shared values they held and that they were always seeking ways to be more responsive, open, and flexible with their employees.
