Glenda Piatt Named Manager of the Quarter

Glenda Piatt, Program Improvement Director with Neal Burkhead, President and COO

As Glenda Piatt prepares to retire after a 43-year career, her focus remains on her team’s success. Her dedication to quality work and her willingness to guide others have made her a respected leader and mentor. She postponed her planned July retirement until October 30 to complete high-priority projects and help prepare others to take over her responsibilities. That decision reflects her commitment to seeing work through and leaving her team prepared for what comes next.

Glenda has worked closely with the new Program Improvement Director, Jennifer Johnson, to transfer knowledge and document processes. Her support has extended across quality assurance and change management, as well as training and development. Throughout the transition, she has helped uphold standards and coached associates on their responsibilities. Her hands-on approach gives new leaders the opportunity to learn directly from her experience and carry that knowledge into their own work.

Glenda’s career began at Nationwide and continued at Palmetto GBA when the company was awarded the contract in July 2002. Her ability to adapt to change has served the company well throughout her career. Her years of experience have made her a valuable resource for associates. She shares what she knows and provides clear direction to help others grow in their roles. As she approaches retirement, we celebrate the high standards she has upheld and the time she has devoted to helping her colleagues succeed. She will be greatly missed by those who have had the privilege of working with her.
