Process Improvement of the Quarter

Compilation of Proposal Cost Information on Contract for Variance Tab

Team member: Jennifer Ross

When the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services request an updated contract proposal, staff must compare revised pricing with current contract costs. To streamline the process a centralized cost summary that compiles existing proposal information and organizes it by category was created. A pivot table prepares the figures for the proposal variant tab, reducing manual work and giving employes a reliable starting point for future requests. The summary will be updated as new proposals are added to the contract.
