Division 34 Quarter 1 Honorees Help Drive Smarter Ways of Working
Coach of the Quarter
Gerald Eichelberger
Gerald Eichelberger, Senior Business Systems Analyst I, led several major initiatives this quarter, using both technical knowledge and hands-on coaching to support teams through change. He guided the enterprise-wide transition of intranet sites from Domino to SharePoint, completing much of the migration work while training associates on the new platform. The transition improved navigation and made information easier for administrators to post and employees to access.
As Scrum Master for the eCommerce Web Team, Gerald helped strengthen communication, improved sprint planning and created more consistent documentation. He also supported the Division 34 CARE Team’s adoption of Copilot after a year-long evaluation, leading to reduced review time and improved scoring consistency. Through his work, Gerald guided multiple teams as they adopted new tools, improved processes and moved key organizational goals forward.

Process Improvement of the Quarter
Avaya Chat Intraday Report Automation & Enhancement
Team Members: Gerald Eichelberger, Steven Hester, Marlowe Leverette, Katie Mclean, Quentin Rodriquez, David Russell
The Avaya Chat Intraday Report Automation and Enhancement improved how chat reporting is accessed and used across multiple business areas. Previously, the report required a manual, multi-step process to prepare and format. The new automated report is available through a single web link and provides real-time data, removing manual steps and reducing the risk of reporting errors.
The enhancement also added new metrics, including bot performance information and 15-minute interval insights to help teams identify potential issues earlier. A new SharePoint hub houses chat tools, workflows and training materials making the information easier to access and supporting more consistent use across teams. This improvement strengthened reporting accuracy, saved staff time and made chat performance information more accessible across the organization.
