Division 6M Quarter 1 Honorees Help Build Better Ways of Working
Coach of the Quarter
Lativia Williams
Lativia Williams is being recognized for the leadership she showed after stepping into a new supervisor role in the Provider Reimbursement Department. Since joining the team in late 2025, Lativia quickly learned complex Medicare reimbursement concepts and applied that knowledge to new situations. At the time, almost half the team were new associates, so she learned alongside them. This gave her a unique opportunity to learn and teach.
As she became familiar with the team’s work, she took time to understand each associate’s strengths and areas for growth. She used that insight to shape her coaching approach and support employees in building their skills. Her ability to learn quickly, make thoughtful decisions and help her team move forward has made a strong impact in a short period of time.
Team of the Quarter
Reopening Team – SSI Realignment Team
Team members: Michelle Anderson, Meredith Cate, Cindy Glass
The Reopening Team – SSI Realignment Team resolved an issue involving older cost reports that did not have cost report software available for the required project updates. After researching the issue, the team determined a manual cost report process was needed to complete the requested changes and support proper provider reimbursement. To manage the work more consistently, team members developed a template that could be used across a large volume of reports.
The team tested the template before use to confirm it met quality expectations and added clear instructions to support the new process. They also kept supervisors informed as updates were made, helping ensure the cost reports could be settled accurately and on time. In addition to this project, the team continues to support coworkers with complex questions and hands-on training.

Level 2 Review Guide
Team Member: Mari Aliscia Nunnally
The Level 2 Review Guide gives auditors a structed resource to use when completing an Level 2 review. The guide was created to support new auditors and employees who may not have completed this type of review recently. The resource breaks the process into clear steps, helping reviewers understand what to do at each stage. By making the review process easier to follow, the guide helps reduce confusion and supports more consistent, quality reviews.
