Coach of the Quarter – Barbara Feliciano

Barbara Feliciano, a Data Analyst I, has been with Palmetto GBA for almost 30 years. Barbara started her employment with Palmetto GBA in 1994. Prior to March 2021, Barbara was assigned to the Supplier Audit and Compliance Unit as a Fraud Analyst I. Barbara is reliable and a great team player. She takes initiative and is always ready for what's next. She brings a strong understanding of her job  and can provide useful insight about Medicare guidelines. Barbara is a fair leader and focuses heavily on high performance; however, that doesn't mean she passes on having fun with the team. According to her team, "Barbara keeps us laughing  throughout the day, which is great for the soul." Congratulations, Barbara, on being named our Division 10 Coach of the Quarter!

Team of the Quarter – National Supplier Clearinghouse (NSC) Support Team

The Support Team is comprised of very talented individuals that work well together. They strive to get the job done accurately and timely while juggling multiple tasks such as appeals and rebuttal documents, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, and several other special projects. The team is very responsive to customers and works as expeditiously as possible to provide correct answers. The Support Team’s management always encourages ideas from their staff and promotes process improvements to streamline processes and provide consistent quality. Congratulations to the Support Team for being named our Division 10 Team of the Quarter!

Process Improvement of the Quarter – Proofpoint Workflow

The Competitive Bidding Implementation Contractor (CBIC) team utilizes Proofpoint to provide security, data loss prevention, and other security measures for listserv messaging to its contract and non-contract suppliers. However,  step-by-step instructions for using the application were needed. Therefore, the team created user-friendly workflow instructions to ease user understanding. After the implementation of these new workflow instructions, 100% of newly onboarded team members understand this required program in a shorter amount of time. This allows the team to reduce error rates, training hours, and more, resulting in significant annual savings. Congratulations to the CBIC team for this new workflow!

Associate of the Month (July) – Brooke Templar

Brooke Templar, a quality assurance coordinator, has been a part of the Palmetto GBA team for 27 years. Brook embodies the qualities of a team player, as she will jump in and help with projects when needed and give advice and guidance. According to her team, "Brooke is constantly achieving, empowering other team members, and focusing on continuously improving and providing quality work." For her drive and continuous improvement efforts, we are excited to announce Brooke as our Associate of the Month.

Associate of the Month (September) – Secret Spencer

Secret Spencer, a Training Specialist II, has a strong work ethic. She works on continuously improving training materials and processes so that trainees can easily understand the material. Secret consistently takes the time to answer questions and works hard to meet and exceed quality metric scores. Secret is a team player, a leader, and an overall great worker. Congratulations on being named our Associate of the Month!
