Shared Services recognizes associates for exemplary work in the fourth quarter of 2022

Team of the Quarter – JM Part B Appeals Nurse Team

The Jurisdiction M (JM) Part B Appeals Nurse Team does an exceptional job of communicating and collaborating. Recently, the appeal nurses worked with JM’s appeals departments to meet all the internal timelines. Each month, this team meets to discuss topics, collaborate, and share new training to optimize individual and team performance. Because of their collaboration and steadfast efforts to promote excellence, we are honored to have the JM Part B Appeals Nurse Team as our Team of the Quarter.

Team members - Staci Barton, Heatherly Carraway, Amanda Earle, Jennifer Faulkner, Cathleen Kirchenberg, and Megan Melnikoff

Associate of the Month (October) – Crystal Wilson

Crystal Wilson, an Appeals Analyst, is an excellent worker who looks for ways to improve the team and its processes. Most recently, she has been working on a process improvement to improve the understanding of certain claim types and how to address dependent, associated, and bundled services. Crystal's drive to promote excellence and help her department grow is why we are excited to announce her as our Associate of the Month.

Associate of the Month (November) – Sandra Scott

Sandra Scott, a Project and Planning Manager, has been with the company for 25 years. She recently received an assignment to clear out the suspense of claims from an Office of Inspector General (OIG) mass adjustment project. Sandra was able to complete the assignment in a very short amount of time while still completing her regular work assignments with the same quality. Her excellence is demonstrated daily through her training of new analysts. For her dedication to quality work, we are excited to announce Sandra as our Associate of the Month.

Associate of the Month (December) – Crissy Jackson

Crissy Jackson, Senior Operations Analyst, has been with Palmetto GBA for over 25 years. Crissy takes the time to explain tasks carefully when assisting new team members. In some cases, she uses a hands-on approach, creating spreadsheet examples so the new trainee can gain experience with these types of documents. Crissy is patient and encouraging with new employees. Congratulations, Crissy. Thank you for going the extra mile to focus on quality and excellence with our company and new team members.
