Please introduce yourself.
Katherine  - Hi, my name is Katherine Miles, and I'm an Auditor I here at Palmetto GBA. 

What is your favorite part about work for Palmetto GBA?
Katherine  - One of the ways that I learn best is to ask questions when trying something new. Here at Palmetto GBA, I have always felt comfortable asking questions, big or small. Palmetto GBA is really open to accepting ideas for improvement, no matter the position or improvement. If you find an easier or better way to get the job done correctly, they want to know about it and show others.

What were some benefits you looked for when applying to Jobs?
Katherine  - When I graduated in May of 2020 and was on the job search and didn’t have more than a high school job at Chick-fil-A and an internship in college for experience, I wanted a position at a company where I would gain experience but also have opportunities for advancement. I was also looking for an established company that would provide stability.

What benefits did you like about Palmetto GBA?
Katherine  - I work in a position where I can work from home, and I really enjoy that aspect of the job. I also really enjoy how my supervisor, manager, and director have "open door" policies; I always feel comfortable going to them if I have any questions or concerns.

What is your career goals within the company? How do you think Palmetto GBA will help you obtain these goals?
Katherine  - I am currently an Auditor I, and I have plans to transition into an Auditor II position in the next year. I would like to work my way up, and I believe Palmetto GBA and those supporting me in this company will help me make that happen. This company also has programs in place to help in the pursuit of a higher degree. I think I would use that to pursue an MBA at some point.

What do you look for in a company? 
Katherine  - I look for a company that treats it employees well, is established, and offers advancement. I think all those are true for Palmetto GBA. ​
