Division 10 quarterly award winners honored for exceptional support

Each quarter, divisions within Palmetto GBA recognize employees for exceptional performance. Please help us congratulate our Division 10 first quarter honorees.

Division 10 team improves CBIC instructions to help eliminate cumbersome searches

Employees in Division 10 prepared hyperlinked prescreen instructions for Competitive Bidding Implementation Contractor (CBIC) accountants, which enabled them to make consistent decisions across three levels of review.

The hyperlinked instructions increased the ease of use and eliminated rework caused by cumbersome searching of the instruction documents. The update also allowed accountants to meet deadlines timely and accurately and earned this team the Division 10 Process Improvement of the Quarter.

Bobbi Qualls’ passion for helping others earns Division 10 Coach of the Quarter honor

Customer Coach and Service Trainer Bobbi Qualls is described by her peers as a source of motivation and positivity for her team in Division 10. Qualls has been with Palmetto GBA 15 years and throughout her career has encouraged her peers to exceed expectations to provide superior customer service.

“Over the last year I have grown to respect her constructive criticism. I understand that she may see something that I may have overlooked or may not have thought about,” said Training Specialist I Christopher Guiler, who nominated Qualls for the divisional award.

She constantly seeks ways to improve herself and the processes she and her team use for training and knowledge sharing. Her ability to listen as well as present her knowledge is among the many reasons she has been named Division 10’s Coach of the Quarter.
