We're All About Family on Parents Day!
Renee Moreland and Tiffany Crutcher
Renee Moreland has been a part of the Palmetto GBA team since November 2022. Her daughter, Tiffany Crutcher, also works with her team. Both are Medical Reviewer II's. Renee states that "We enjoy working together, and the ability to discuss work as colleagues and family members is a valuable asset."
Renee has found that working with her daughter at Palmetto GBA has strengthened their relationship. Despite living only 2-3 miles apart for most of their adult lives and already being close, working together has allowed them to see each other's professional sides uniquely. Additionally, they have both gained valuable skills from each other due to their different nursing backgrounds helping them deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Selena Haskins and Sheila Littleton
Selena Haskins has been working as a Document Control Manager at Palmetto GBA for 34 years. Her mother, Sheila Littleton, is an Appeals Specialist and has been with the company for 15 years. Selena recommended Palmetto GBA to her mother as a career choice because of the company's excellent benefits, employee care, and great career opportunities. According to both Selena and Sheila, even though they don't work together daily, they enjoy the fact that they can offer each other a supportive hug whenever needed and take pride in seeing each other excel in their respective positions.
Michelle and Cameron Muller
Michelle Muller is an Accountant III who has been working at Palmetto GBA for over 11 years. Her son, Cameron, is a Customer Service Advocate III and has been with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina for almost a year. Michelle joined Palmetto GBA after working for another company for 14 years. She was drawn to Palmetto GBA because of the growth opportunities and benefits it offered. After Cameron graduated, she recommended that he try working for BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina for the same reasons. Although Michelle and Cameron do not work in the same building, they try to meet for lunch or attend special events regularly.
At Palmetto GBA, working together as a team to achieve goals and improve customer interactions and service is a top priority. Each of these parent-child duos exemplify how a unique experience can strengthen bonds and result in better outcomes for customers.
