Sherry Washington-Brown Named Manager of the Quarter
Sherry Washington-Brown has been named Manager of the Quarter for her exceptional leadership and the unprecedented results she delivered within Provider Enrollment. When Jurisdiction M needed to reduce its pending volume, she developed and executed a strategic plan that reorganized workload distribution, strengthened training and established clear, attainable goals. Within six months, her team achieved a 70 percent reduction in pending applications – an accomplishment unmatched in the department’s history.
Sherry continued driving improvement as she led the transition to a new Part B workflow management system in May 2025, a significant change after two decades on the previous system. She ensured staff received the training and support needed to maintain quality standards while adapting to the new platform. Her emphasis on education, accountability and cross-team coordination helped Provider Enrollment achieve 100 percent of timeliness metrics.
