Coach of the Quarter – April Jackson

April Jackson, a Utilization Management Manager, is an exceptional leader who consistently recognizes teammates for their work. She ensures her team is well-prepared through monthly 1:1 meetings fostering team connections and discussing productivity, goals, and more. She actively participates in planning additional opportunities for growth, such as online courses, training, etc. On top of all she does for her team and the company, she was recently selected by Palmetto GBA management to participate in the "Leadership of Columbia" program. For her drive to better herself and those around her, we are excited to announce her as our Coach of the Quarter for Shared Services.

Team of the Quarter – JJ Part A Appeals

The Jurisdiction J (JJ) Part A Appeals contract began in 2018. Since then, the team has grown tremendously in terms of organization, quality, and performance. The team communicates and works together, maintaining a strong work ethic to meet and exceed goals. You can see this work ethic each month as the team shares education with not only the JJ team but with other Part A teams. They are quick to help other areas when needed and strive for excellence in everything they do. Consistently, the JJ Part A Appeals team meets and exceeds review standards set by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and Palmetto GBA. For this hard work and dedication to quality, we say congratulations on being named our Team of the Quarter for Shared Services.

Associate of the Month (April) – Logan Autry

Logan Autry, a Senior Medical Reviewer, is knowledgeable in her field and consistently meets and exceeds the quality standards of the company. She responds quickly and accurately to questions that arise and has provided education and assistance when needed in training new and current team members. According to her team, "Logan has a can-do and will-do attitude that comes across to all her team members. If she doesn't know something, she will figure out the answer you need and ensure you understand. She encourages us to do our best and pushes us to improve our work." Congratulation to Logan on being named our Associate of the Month.

Associate of the Month (May) – Sabrina Holland

Sabrina Holland, a Training and Quality Assurance Coordinator, has demonstrated an exceptional work ethic throughout her time with Palmetto GBA. She recently led the training of current and new employees on inpatient and new orientation courses. Sabrina exceeds our quality standards each reporting period and is not shy about adding extra insights when needed to help with projects or deadlines. She embodies the characteristics we look for in our Associates of the Month. Congratulations, Sabrina!

Associate of the Month (June) – Lovealee Blevins

Lovealee Blevins, a Senior Operations Analyst, is known for her hard work and ability to provide exceptional customer service to our internal and external customers. During June, Lovealee processed over 400 claim adjustments and provided training to the team about upcoming change requests and Part B quarterly releases. She demonstrates extreme knowledge and a clear understanding of changes. According to her team, "Lovealee is a true example of a team player who is always willing to share her ideas and expertise."
