Palmetto GBA’s focus on delivering high-quality service earns ISO 9001:2015 re-certification

Palmetto GBA has again earned International Organization for Standard (ISO) 9001:2015 re-certification, a globally recognized accreditation of quality standards.

Overall, the focus of the certification assures that your operations are aligned with your customers’ expectations,” said Program Improvement Director Joe Roof. “Everything comes back to meeting the customers’ needs.”

In order to gain certification, Palmetto GBA must comply with the ISO’s stringent series of standards, which are needed to maintain an efficient quality system.

Auditors spend several weeks at Palmetto GBA, visiting multiple operational sites to determine if the company is in compliance with the standard. Additionally, individual associates are interviewed to assure they understand Palmetto GBA’s quality processes, procedures and customer expectations.

“It has become part of how we do business,” Roof said. “Our ISO certification gives us a great deal of alignment throughout our organization.”

The certification standards have become part of the foundation for quality management throughout Palmetto GBA, according to Roof. The Customer Xperience initiative is one example of Palmetto GBA’s dedication to ensure every employee has a focus on providing high-quality customer service.

Palmetto GBA’s certification covers the next three years. During that time ISO auditors will conduct annual surveillance audits to ensure quality standards continue to be met.
