Palmetto GBA’s Arteya Robinson completes the Columbia region's signature development course, “Leadership Columbia."
Arteya Robinson, an Audit and Reimbursement Director, recently completed Columbia, South Carolina's Leadership Columbia program. This 10-month program, offered through the Columbia Chamber, is the region's signature leadership development course. This course features a two-day retreat, nine monthly day-long sessions, a collaborative class project, and enrichment activities, all designed to educate participants on critical issues facing the community while providing opportunities for deeper involvement.
"The experience was by far one of the most enriching opportunities of my life," said Arteya. When asked why she decided to join the program, Arteya responded, "It was for the enhancement of my leadership and networking skills as well as learning new ways that I can support the development of the greater Columbia area."
“We certainly applaud Arteya for being committed to making a positive difference – which is the cornerstone of the prestigious Leadership Columbia program. At Palmetto GBA, we believe that providing these types of opportunities for personal and professional development of our people is a top priority for success. We congratulate Arteya for achieving this milestone on the way to inspiring and influencing change by utilizing the leadership tenets learned in the program." says Ed Sanchez, Vice President, Jurisdiction, M A/B MAC.
Each year approximately 60 professionals are selected to participate in the class based on community involvement, capacity for leadership, commitment to improving the Midlands, and an interest in enhancing leadership skills. "The selection process is competitive, but I feel so honored to have completed Leadership Columbia. I am extremely blessed to have made the connections I have with some of the many Columbia future leaders," said Arteya.
Upon graduation from Leadership Columbia, class participants are invited and encouraged to join the more than 2,000 alumni serving the Midlands and communities all over the United States. To learn more about our Leadership Columbia Alumni Association visit, ColumbiaChamber.com.
