COLUMBIA, S.C. — Palmetto GBA LLC, has announced its adherence to the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) Committee on Operating Rules (CORE) Payment & Remittance Operating Rule by receiving the CORE Certification.

The CAQH CORE Certification is a widely recognized industry gold standard that displays Palmetto GBA's commitment to securely and efficiently exchanging administrative healthcare data with its partners. This recognition demonstrates that Palmetto GBA's Information Technology healthcare administrative, clinical, and financial transactions are operating in conformance with specific CAQH CORE Operating Rules Sets.

As Palmetto GBA acquired the CAQH CORE Certification, it demonstrates that the company has gone beyond government standardization as these certifications are not mandatory. CAQH CORE's certification to Palmetto GBA is awarded until 2026 and then requires recertification.

“Palmetto GBA is committed to continuous improvement and providing the highest quality Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) services available for our customers,” said Nella Bishop, Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Systems & Support. “Our CAQH Core certification is just one more step towards collaboration and interoperability as we strive to increase efficiency through automation.”
