October AOM
Division 1M – Jurisdiction J Operations, Customer Service
Doroethea Beach
Doroethea Beach has been with Palmetto GBA for six months as a Customer Service Advocate I. Doroethea is fully committed to open dialog to assist her team. She is not afraid to ask questions to make sure she fully understands what is needed to ensure the correct information is relayed to providers and team members consistently and accurately. Doroethea is an exceptional asset to her team and has earned her place as Associate of the Month.
Division 4M – Prior Authorization Programs
Beth McCoy
Beth McCoy has been an Outpatient Department Prior Authorization (OPD) Medical Reviewer with the OPD Team since 2020. She is known for her positive and uplifting attitude while going the extra mile with new team members. Over the past year, Beth volunteered to learn OPD Additional Documentation Request (ADR). She is continually looking to learn and enhance her skills and is currently working to become a preceptor for future OPD reviewers. Beth’s standout performance has helped her team achieve many goals. She brings a smile to team meetings and has proven herself to be a true asset to the team earning the title of Associate of the Month.
Division 6M – Jurisdiction J Operations, Audit & Reimbursement
Chantel Blackman
Chantel Blackman is an Auditor I with the Reopenings Department. Chantel was assigned a significant number of reviews for the Supplement Security Income (SSI) Realignment project. Even though she had less than three months’ experience when she completed her first review, she finished with the second highest production on her Reopening team for the SSI Realignment project.
Throughout the project Chantel consistently received positive comments regarding the high quality of her work. She also made herself available to work on reviews from teammates who needed assistance. Chantel’s proactive approach with a “YES FIRST” attitude has earned her the title of Associate of the Month for October.
Division 10 – Support Operations
Ashlee Lasecki
Business Analyst I, Ashlee Lasecki is with the Provider Enrollment Internal Quality Control Team. She delivers exceptional customer service guiding others through Provider Enrollment with clarity and confidence. Her main area of focus is auditing but Ashlee also supports training and application processing utilizing her deep knowledge of policy and procedure to streamline complex practices. Special projects, system transitions and updated work instructions are where her dedication shines brightly while exceeding auditing metrics. Ashlee’s professionalism, positive attitude and collaborative spirit have not only made her an invaluable asset to the team but has also earned her the title of Associate of them Month Award.
Division 34 – Systems & Support
Dilip Nepali
Dilip Nepali, a Senior Developer, consistently delivers exceptional customer focused solution that exceed expectations. He exemplifies excellence in software development through his technical expertise, leadership, and unwavering commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
During the Third-Party Administration Project, he engineered highly efficient, scalable and secure code that addressed complex business requirements while improving system performance. He proactively identified performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities early in development, reducing production defects significantly. His dedication to delivering stable, user-friendly applications has directly enhanced customer satisfaction and trust. Dilip’s contributions have elevated project outcomes, strengthened team collaboration and advanced organizational standard and earned him the title of Associate of the Month.
Division 54 – Finance & Accounting
Janelle Lantz
Janelle Lantz has been a key part of the Accounts Payable Department for six years and was most recently promoted to Accountant Tech III. She communicates with the operating departments to confirm the Request for Disbursement Forms are assigned correctly for payments. Her keen attention to detail enables the team to consistently meet and exceed the expectations of internal and external customers.
She has proven herself to be an asset to not one but two departments by splitting her time and responsibilities between the General Ledger and Accounts Payable. Janelle’s cheerful outlook and willingness to help her team and respond to customers promptly has earned her October’s Associate of the Month.
Division 93 – Augusta Operations
Megan Stinnett
Megan Stinnett, a Medical Reviewer III, is always willing to help wherever she is needed. She stepped in and assisted another department for over six months. This required her to learn an entirely new system and processes. During that time, Megan excelled and when the work was completed, she seamlessly stepped back into her previous role. Megans’ Quality Assurance scores have been nearly perfect with a score of 100 percent in 11 of the past 12 months. She is a self-starter who is also committed to teamwork. For her willingness to always put the team first, Megan was awarded Associate of the Month for October.
Divisions 5/29 – Shared Services
Erin Davis
Erin Davis is a Business Analyst II under the Operations Support Unit (OSU) Part A Claims Department. Each quarter the OSU participates in Fiscal Intermediary Shared System (FISS) which updates claim processing protocols with new instructions from the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
This quarter’s release was uniquely challenging due to the Federal Government shutdown, which delayed the implementation of key components for releasing Part A claims. Erin demonstrated exceptional diligence and expertise in interpreting CMS’s evolving guidance during this time and implementing the necessary changes promptly and accurately to maintain compliance.
Each adjustment required close coordination with Part A Tech Support throughout this complex release. Erin maintained consistent and clear communication not only within the Part A Claims OSU team and Part A Tech Support, but also kept management informed of the evolving challenges and questions that arose. Erin continued to perform her day-to-day tasks alongside the demands of this intricate release demonstrating her dedication and professionalism, earning her Associate of the Month for October.
