In October, Palmetto GBA proudly launched the Nectar Rewards and Recognition Program, a dynamic new initiative designed to celebrate the outstanding contributions of our associates. This program brings recognition to life in a way that’s visible, frequent and fun.

Appreciation and Recognition

Now every member of the Palmetto GBA team has a powerful tool to recognize the efforts of coworkers. Whether it’s a shoutout, a nomination for exceeding expectations or success in meeting a challenge, Nectar makes appreciation and recognition part of our everyday culture.

Reward Points

This program complements Palmetto GBA’s other recognition efforts and reinforces our commitment to a culture rooted in our core values: Communication, Responsibility, Integrity, Service, People and Innovation. Each Nectar recognition indicates with hashtags how an associate embodies those values in their work. Associates earn reward points when recognized by management and when they participate in challenges.

An incentive for earning points is the opportunity to redeem points for a wide range of items including gift cards, Palmetto GBA swag and Amazon merchandise.

A Strong Start

The response to the program has been enthusiastic with roughly 80 percent of staff enrolling; an exceptionally strong start according to Nectar. In just the first month:

• 2,705 shoutouts were sent
• 99 percent of staff received recognition
• 42 percent of staff sent shoutouts
• 69 challenge submissions were made

These numbers show that our team is excited to celebrate one another — and we’re just getting started. At Palmetto GBA, our team members are building a workplace where appreciation is not just encouraged — it’s celebrated.
