Manager of the Quarter: Jamey Dillard

We are excited to announce that Jamey Dillard, an accounting manager in Medicare Finance Administration, has been named the 2024 third quarter Manager of the Quarter. During the announcement at the quarterly management meeting on October 30, Jamey was presented with the Excellence in Leadership Award.

Jamey has dedicated 31 years of his career to Palmetto GBA, holding positions across a wide range of departments. His extensive experience has equipped him to handle diverse and challenging situations with remarkable effectiveness. His critical thinking skills, combined with his vast experience, have been invaluable, particularly in meeting Medicare contract requirements.

In 2023, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) tasked Palmetto GBA with finding cost-saving measures. Jamey proposed reducing postage costs for Medicare Summary Notices. After evaluating the three options submitted by Palmetto GBA, CMS selected the plan that offered significant savings while minimizing the impact on beneficiaries.
