Team of the Quarter - RCD University Implementation Team

Recently, the Review Choice Demonstration (RCD) University Implementation Team and the Quality Assurance (QA) team created the RCD University Concept. The RCD University Concept is an educational program to address education needs in RCD. The supervisors and QA Team members have planned, researched, and created a university course to roll out regular educational opportunities for medical reviewers. The creation of the University is an exceptional concept that has been well received by medical reviewers. The desire for lifelong learning and the ability to increase proficiency and understanding are real needs within RCD. A large number of reviewers with differing levels of developmental needs, present a unique challenge for addressing educational needs. The creation of the RCD University is an excellent way to bring education to all skill and experience levels in a fun and engaging manner. Congratulations to this team on being named our Division 4M team of the quarter.

Team Members: Tracy Davis, Stephanie Greenway, Kellie Kirby, Jennifer LaFon, Daleisha Rowell, Rachel Rueff, Tabitha Staples, and Deanna Stevens

Process Improvement of the Quarter - Creation and Management of the RCD Education Repository

Before the creation and management of the Review Choice Demonstration (RCD) Education Repository, RCD training manuals were sent out to providers via email. The manuals are great because they contain additional formal education that is needed. However, there was a need for an official shared place to house these educational materials. The 4M-JM Pre-Claim Health Team took on this project and selected QMS360 as the platform for the creation and storage of the education repository. Also, a new team called the RCD Education Repository Committee was created to monitor, update, and keep the materials organized. Thanks to this team's efforts, a new system was created to review and update educational materials. The creation of links provides access to the information quickly and efficiently, saving a significant amount of time and ensuring ease of use for users. Congratulations to this team for being named our Process Improvement Project of the Quarter.
