Coach of the Quarter – Victoria Parson

Victoria Parson is a Medical Review Supervisor who leads by example and with care. Recently, Victoria took on additional responsibilities to cover another team while the current supervisor was out for a short period. Victoria welcomed the challenge, and according to the team, "She was kind, respectful, empathic, and helped us accomplish our goals and projects." When the team is in need, Victoria always steps up and gets the job done. Congratulations Victoria on being awarded our Division 4M Coach of the Quarter. 

Associate of the Month (January) – Sheila Roberts

Sheila Roberts, a Medical Reviewer II, is a determined and hard-working employee. She welcomes all new teammates and makes them feel welcome by answering their questions and giving directions to resources to accomplish the task at hand. She is always available and willing to assist when needed, exemplifying one of our company values of "Service".  Our customers benefit from the knowledge that Sheila brings to the team, resulting in quicker turn-around times for determinations made by new team members. This dedication and Sheila’s quality focus are why we are excited to announce Sheila as our Division 4M January 2022 Associate of the Month. 

Associate of the Month (February) – Michelle Summers

Michelle Summers, a Medical Reviewer III, has been a part of the Palmetto GBA team since 2016 and demonstrates dedication and loyalty regarding all aspects of the company. She demonstrates her desire to make a difference in our company as evidenced by her history of serving on several committees, such as the JM Quality Council, RCD Customer Experience Council, and the RCD Wellness Committee. Michelle is eager and enthusiastic about new challenges. She promotes all of our company values daily through her work. Recently, she demonstrated to the customer that communication, quality, and especially service are values that are extremely important to her and our company. This dedication to excellence is our reason for selecting Michelle Summers as our Division 4M February 2022 Associate of the Month. 

Associate of the Month (March) – Christina Gilbert

Christina Gilbert has been a part of the Palmetto GBA team since 2018. While Christina's main role is as a Medical Reviewer II for the Outpatient Prior Authorization (OPA) Team, she also cross-trains for the Review Choice Demonstration (RCD) team. Before transferring to OPA, she was a preceptor in RCD, and she has assisted with many special projects. Most recently, she has been working with the Repetitive, Scheduled Non-Emergent Ambulance Transport (RSNAT) team on their JJ pilot project. Christina never shies away from a challenge and is always the first to volunteer to learn something new. She is hardworking, flexible, positive, and always willing to help. Congratulations, Christina, on being awarded our Division 4M Associate of the Month for March 2022.
