Implementation of Case Studies and Related Presentations for RSNAT
Team members: Lacey Hopkins, Rachel Payne, Lendi Watkins, Kayla Whittle
The initiative “Implementation of Case Studies and Related Presentations for RSNAT” was named the Process Improvement of the Quarter because it improved the quality and consistency of medical reviews and boosted reviewer satisfaction.
In response to a request from the medical reviewers, the Repetitive Scheduled Non-Emergent Transport (RSNAT) coordinator launched a series of detailed case studies and educational presentations that offered practical insights and real-world scenarios. This gave medical reviewers the tools and knowledge to effectively analyze and interpret complex medical documents. By promoting a standardized approach to reviewing medical documentation, the initiative ensured accuracy and uniformity and created a more fulfilling and efficient review process.
