Team of the Quarter
New UDR Workgroup
Team members: Georgina Chiejile Cheryl Hutcheson, Dawn Mackey, John Palmer, Dan Stade, Chrissy Sturm
The New Uniform Desk Review (UDR) Workgroup transformed the way the provider audit team manages desk review templates. Formed in April 2025, the team streamlined the template update process, reduced duplicate requests and brought clarity and efficiency to a previously complex process that involved a much larger group of people. In just two months, the small workgroup launched a revised template that improved usability, reduced friction and reflected staff feedback. Named the Team of the Quarter, this workgroup was able to foster communication and collaboration as they empowered colleagues to share ideas and build a culture of trust and teamwork.

Most importantly, it ensures timely, accurate communication with providers while maintaining compliance with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services requirements.
