Sheila Bell, a Senior Operations Analyst for the Medical Review Data Strategy Team, is a 25-year veteran of Palmetto GBA. Her wealth of knowledge is invaluable to the team. Sheila is a born teacher and her patience and encouragement for new and current staff make her a great coach. In the fourth quarter of 2020 she trained four analysts. Sheila not only trains new analysts but she is also the resource for inquiries from Medical Review Operations and Technical Support. Along with training and mentoring, Sheila completes quality work review audits and monthly reports. Further, she is responsible for ensuring the department meets Jurisdiction M A/B MAC Alternate Dispute Resolution goals.

Sheila entrusts her team with tasks and projects and provides positive reinforcement. Sheila’s expertise with assigning work has led to an increase in work capacity for the group. Sheila earns Coach of the Quarter honors for keeping her team prepared and positioned to succeed..

Tamara Bennett, Customer Service Advocate II, is a member of the Electronic Data Interchange department but also assists in other areas of the Provider Contact Center (PCC). She is committed to the PCC and is always willing to help others. Her patience and communication skills when resolving potential issues is noteworthy. Tamara loves people, works hard and always tries to lift the spirits of those around her. This resonates with our providers who appreciate her warm and cheerful attitude.
