Process Improvement of the Quarter – Competitive Bidding Implementation Contractor Helpdesk Report Printing and Storage Process

The Competitive Bidding Implementation Contractor (CBIC) Helpdesk Team is no stranger to printing documents. Each week and month, quality scorecard reports are printed and saved as hard copies. This process, over time, has consumed a significant amount of space, paper, and printer ink. The CBIC Helpdesk Team knew there had to be an easier, more sustainable way of organizing, saving, and accessing these files. After deliberation of ways to accomplish this task, the team decided to move the process to electronic files on a secure drive, eliminating the need to print these types of documents. This new process improvement will reduce cost and is environmentally friendly.

Team Members: LeRicko Benson, Shontavia Bladen, Robin Key, Katherine Mayo, and DeAaron McGlockling
