Christina began her career at Palmetto GBA in September of 2018 as a Review Choices Demonstration (RCD) Medical Reviewer II. She quickly learned the home health benefits and showed eagerness to learn more and always had a positive attitude. She became one of the go-to peer preceptors to train other newly hired medical reviewers. In the summer of 2020, Christina was a part of the very first Aspiring Leaders Program where she soaked up everything she could learn, plus what she learned from her mentor, and was promoted to RCD Medical Reviewer (MR) Supervisor in September 2020.

Christina’s journey didn’t stop here. She devoted countless hours to learning not only the leadership skills needed to manage a team of 25 MR IIs, but her compassion, empathy, impeccable integrity, and willingness to challenge herself, all set her up for success as a supervisor. Her continued push to be a better leader and grow her leadership skills led her to apply for the RCD MR Manager position in the early spring of 2021. As a manager, Christina broadened her knowledge more and further solidified those leadership skills necessary to not only manage day-to-day operations but to manage the program. Christina seeks to challenge herself in areas that she knows she needs to grow.

In January of 2022, when the RCD MR III Quality team was learning the complexities of the technical side of RCD, Christina played a big role in helping teach this team. Her unique ability to reach her audience and engage them meaningfully and effectively is an asset to not just Christina and her audience, but to Palmetto GBA. Emily Tidwell, MR III, stated that she was "so thankful to Christina for teaching her. Christina can adapt to any environment and truly embodies all the ideals of a Palmetto GBA leader.”
