Jessica DelCastillo, Accounting Manager, has been with Palmetto GBA for almost 13 years and has been the manager of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Reporting since January 2020. Jessica took on her new role with great enthusiasm and excitement, and as a result, she and her team have thrived.

While managing her team of accountants and accounting technicians during COVID, she has gone to great lengths to keep lines of communication open with her staff while working remotely. Jessica was instrumental in coordinating all the necessary resources to respond quickly to requests. Throughout these work location transitions; Jessica has stressed continuous and open communication. Most recently, she and her staff have been quick to adopt Microsoft Teams, utilizing chat, screen share, and conferencing features to promote continued collaboration.

Jessica has distinguished herself through her participation and leadership in several special projects. Two recent special projects (still ongoing) have been COVID Accelerated/Advance Payments (CAAP) Repayments and Military Treatment Facility Payment Processing. In implementing actions for both high-profile Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) initiatives, Jessica has responded quickly and accurately to requests for information, and she has implemented sound processes for handling these ongoing tasks. Both demonstrate her exceptional ability as a leader and a team player.
