Aspiring Leaders Management Training Program

Palmetto GBA’s new Aspiring Leaders program was created to prepare associates for supervisory and front-line management positions. The program provides a unique opportunity for employees to expand their knowledge and gain valuable skills to help them achieve their professional goals.

“This strategic initiative allows high potential associates who are interested in a management role to be selected for a formalized leadership development program,” said Ed Sanchez, vice president of operations and Jurisdiction M MAC project manager at Palmetto GBA. “For the organization, the benefit will be to create a pipeline of trained associates ready to apply for entry-level management positions.  It is important for us to be able to attract, retain and grow talent and capabilities in order to achieve a high performing organization and high associate satisfaction.  We believe this is paramount to success.”

Each Aspiring Leader participant receives a personalized curriculum that recognizes their strengths and addresses areas for growth. A one-on-one mentorship model provides continuous feedback and support. The training focuses on the “Three Es”– experiential for hands on experiences, exposure to provide social learning and enhance collaboration skills and education that takes place in a classroom.

“We believe we have crafted a combination of courses and individualized developmental opportunities to expose associates to the challenges of front-line leaders,” Sanchez said.

The inaugural class will include 30 participants.
