Community Impact
Supporting Our Community in 2024
Palmetto GBA has a long-standing tradition of giving back to our local communities and helping those in need. This tradition continued in 2024, with associates collaborating within their work divisions to raise awareness, volunteer their time and talent and donate items and funds.
Our 2024 company-wide giving project, supporting the Big Red Barn Retreat (BRBR), was a tremendous success! Over 300 Palmetto GBA volunteers and donors contributed 100 hours of work and raised $7,050. Through the BRBR, this contribution will provide crucial support to active-duty military service members, veterans and first responders.
Associates joined forces within divisions to support a wide range of organizations, including the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Ronald McDonald House Charities and smaller groups aiding burn victims and the homeless. In total, 610 associates participated in 61 charity projects, volunteered 1,522 hours, and donated 3,077 items and $15,500.
The annual United Way fundraising campaign also saw robust support. Under the theme “Give Where You Live,” staff members made pledges totaling $316,549. The United Way plays a vital role in providing hope and bringing communities together to tackle their greatest challenges, whether it is helping families find stability, empowering young people or responding to crises.
