In April 2021, Shared Services launched its second annual “Animals Need Love Too” drive to support multiple animal shelters and rescues in Alabama, Ohio, and South Carolina. Reaching out for support from employees, Palmetto GBA had the choice of donating to multiple non-profits within the drive, including Speak for the Unspoken, Cabin Critters Rescue, Sierra's Haven, Two-by-Two Rescue in Alabama, Greater Birmingham Human Society, Kershaw County Humane Society, Final Victory Animal Rescue and the Florence Area Humane Society

Thanks to the generosity of Palmetto GBA employees many animals were served. Monetary donations totaled $885. Shared Services also donated over $320 in additional goods and services, volunteer hours, and helped multiple animals in need find new homes.
